GetLinked Directions uses GPS even if it is running in the background, so you and your friend will not lose trace of each other. and you can track him and see him coming to your location. If you request a rendez vous with a friend or he did, once you accept his rendez vous you location becomes shared with him (and only to the ones whom you accepted a rendez vous with) until you meet him or have you canceled manually the rendez vous.
